“Clothes don’t make a man, but clothes have got many a man a good job.” – Herbert Harold Vreeland
Duds for Studs was inspired by the KW Princess Project, a local program that provides free prom, semi-formal and graduation dresses, shoes and accessories to young women who could otherwise not afford them.
Dr. Rahima Hirji, ND and Moe Visram, siblings and local business owners, were moved to provide a similar program for young men. Duds for Studs aims to broaden its reach by also providing business wear to young men that are entering the workforce.
We collect gently used business and formal wear including suits, shirts, dress pants, belts, ties and shoes. Check your closets! We are sure you will find something that you have outgrown or no longer need that could be useful to someone in need.
Our aim is to provide this service for all those in need. If you need an outfit, show up on one of our “Suit Up” days and we will do our best to get you an outfit that meets your needs.
